Billebeino makes unisex gear that’s inspired by art and sports. But we’re also inspired by the world around us and devoted to protecting it. For us, that means working hard to make sure that our clothes have a positive impact on the people who wear them, the people who make them, and the world we all share.

The global clothing industry is the second largest polluter in the world, right after the oil industry. The biggest reason for that is fast fashion, aka mass-produced products sold in big stores for a small price. The amount of resources it takes to produce all these products is staggering – tens of millions of tons of waste, trillions of liters of water, and millions of tons of clothes are thrown away every year. Not to mention the devastating impacts on the communities involved in the supply chain.

The world can’t go on like this. And at Billebeino, we won’t.

Today, around 40% of Billebeino products are made with 100% recycled and responsibly-sourced materials from Pure Waste’s factories in India. We’re also exploring other new innovations that can help us make Billebeino products even more sustainable.

We want to make clothes that are made to last and meant to be worn for as long as possible. Clothes like that have a much smaller impact on the environment and a much bigger impact on the people who wear them.

We know that a fair and sustainable clothing industry is possible. And just like you, we’re doing our best to be, buy and do better. The choices we make today are going to define the world we live in tomorrow. We want Billebeino clothing to be the best possible choice for everyone.
